Sustainable purchasing policies of large enterprises:
5th Sustainability Monitor Report

The Sustainability Monitor Report (SMR), now in its fifth edition, is the annual report that analyses the environmental and social sustainability of the supply chains of Italy’s major companies. The aim of the report is to provide insights into how the Italian economy is addressing the green transition promoted by the European Union. A transition that requires Public Administrations and major economic players to adopt virtuous purchasing policies capable of driving change along the entire value chain, through the use of Green Procurement tools.

The report is promoted and produced by the Ecosistemi Foundation as part of the Buygreen Community initiatives, through which it seeks to engage large Italian companies, both public and private, to foster the transformation of procurement processes into a lever for the ecological transition of their activities, products, and services.
