One event, all about green and sustainable procurement

Forum Compraverde Buygreen – the Green Procurement General Assembly – is the most important European event on policies, projects, goods and services of Green Procurement, both public and private. An international event that annually brings together the main actors involved in the dissemination and implementation of sustainable procurement of goods and services and in the green conversion of production and consumption patterns.

The event was set up in 2007 to promote a widespread culture of green purchasing, to become a place for the exchange of good practices, to encourage discussion and relations between institutions, businesses and organised civil society, and to bring together the demand and supply of goods and services with green features.

Over the years, the Forum Compraverde Buygreen has become a container of excellence that guides and supports the country in achieving the objectives defined by the UN Agenda for Sustainable Development, confirming itself as the “key event in the Green Public Procurement agenda” already ratified in 2010 by the European Environment Directorate-General.
