The governance of the energy transition: actors, challenges and perspectives

The energy transition is one of the most urgent and complex challenges of our time. In Italy, its success depends on the ability to create effective coordination among government, local authorities, businesses, the research community, trade unions, and civil society. However, the process is often fragmented: divergent visions, conflicting priorities, and poorly integrated tools risk slowing down change.

This roundtable aims to be a moment of constructive dialogue among all stakeholders, with a dual objective: to identify the main regulatory, institutional, and operational obstacles hindering the energy transition, and to foster networking and dialogue between the different actors’ expertise and demands.

In a context where public debate is often polarized, the meeting seeks to promote an open and concrete dialogue capable of generating common visions and shared pathways to accelerate change. An opportunity to turn discussion into action.

The event is organized in collaboration with the Department of Political and Social Sciences, University of Calabria.
