The global approach to school nutrition

The Whole School Food Approach (WSFA) is a methodology developed within the School Food 4 Change project to promote the transformation of food systems starting from schools. The approach enables the planning and implementation of integrated interventions to promote healthy and sustainable diets by connecting all food-related activities within the school: from participatory governance to education, catering services, and external relations.

The meeting aims to transfer the know-how from Italian cities that have already tested this approach (Milan and Nuoro) to other teachers, school principals, and city representatives through an interactive presentation and direct exchanges with the key players of this innovation.
