“Twenty Years of GPP. When Public Spending Drives Change” is a documentary tracing twenty years of Green Public Procurement in Italy — from the first pioneering experiments to today’s European challenges.

A collective story made up of school canteens, public administrations, businesses, territorial networks, culture, environment and European policies. Because behind every public procurement process there are not only procedures and technical specifications, but decisions that affect quality of life, the environment, employment and the future of communities.

Through institutional, technical and political testimonies, the documentary shows how public spending can become a strategic lever capable of steering markets, services and consumption towards sustainability.
