PITCH SESSION PINCHERA HALL

Social Responsibility in Public Supply Chains

What happens when academic analysis engages with the most advanced practices in Green Public Procurement?

This session presents the results of an applied research programme carried out by master’s students in Economics and Management, within courses on Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility. The work focuses on assessing the impacts generated by public procurement, starting from real case studies.

Students analysed selected winning tenders from previous editions of the Compraverde Award, evaluating their environmental, social and economic impacts at territorial level. This exercise provides a structured and critical perspective on the effectiveness of public procurement as a tool for transformation.

The five best projects—selected for methodological rigour and strategic vision—will be presented at the Forum in pitch format, offering an original perspective on both the potential and the limitations of sustainable procurement policies.

The session creates a connection between education, research and public policy, highlighting the role of new skills in shaping more responsible procurement models. The winning project will receive formal recognition within the Compraverde Award ceremony, reinforcing the link between innovation, business ethics and public administration.
