The Public Administration network for european and sustainable public procurement
Launch event of the Network of Public Authorities for the BESA (Buy European and Sustainable Act), a network of local authorities aimed at showcasing how the application of Minimum Environmental Criteria and their mandatory implementation have contributed to the sustainable growth of territories in Italy. The event takes place within the broader context of the reform of the Public Procurement Directive, a process that is redefining the management of public purchasing in a sustainable manner at the European level.
During the meeting, the manifesto outlining the founding principles of the network and its impact on sustainable procurement policies will be presented. Complementing the event, a panel of experts from cities and regions recognized for their best practices in sustainable procurement will have the opportunity to comment on the proposal and contribute to the discussion.
