CONFERENCE PINCHERA HALL

The Environment as a Fundamental Asset and Public Responsibility

The environment is not merely an ecological issue: it is a fundamental right and, at the same time, a public responsibility that cuts across politics, economies and models of development. The conference, organised by Eutopica — a publishing project created to imagine and narrate possible futures — together with Costituente Terra, offers a space for reflection that combines vision with practicality. At its heart lies the need to rethink the relationship between people, territories and economies, moving beyond a sectoral understanding of sustainability.

Starting from future scenarios — more liveable cities, alternative economic models, new forms of living and working — the discussion engages with the choices required in the present. Sustainability is thus interpreted as a systemic principle, requiring public policies capable of integrating environmental, social and economic dimensions.

Alongside this reflection, there is room for concrete experiences: urban projects, production chains and cultural initiatives that demonstrate how sustainability can translate into replicable practices and real change.
The conference thus takes the form of a laboratory of thought and action, in which the right to the environment becomes a key to reinterpreting the role of institutions and steering public choices towards fairer, more conscious and sustainable models.Inizio modulo
