CONFERENCE BRUNDTLAND HALL

Presentation of the 8th Green Procurement Observatory Report:
the numbers of Green Public Procurement in Italy.
The status, trends, and accelerations of the PNRR

The eighth edition of the Green Procurement Observatory Report, produced by Legambiente and the Ecosistemi Foundation, presents a detailed analysis of the application of Minimum Environmental Criteria in the procurement of goods, services, and works, involving capital cities, municipalities, park authorities, local health agencies, central purchasing bodies, and metropolitan cities.

The report provides a comprehensive overview of best practices, critical issues encountered, and the solutions needed to effectively enforce the mandatory use of Green Public Procurement (GPP) as a central tool for the ecological transition of the economy.

Article 57 of the Public Contracts Code confirmed the mandatory nature of CAM, and Legambiente, together with the Ecosistemi Foundation, continues to work to ensure full compliance with this obligation.
