NN Non Noto – film screening by Tezeta Abraham

The documentary NN Non Noto by Tezeta Abraham offers an in-depth perspective on citizenship, inclusion and rights, connecting individual experiences with broader historical and legislative dynamics. Through testimonies, archival materials and contributions from scholars and protagonists, the film explores the links between current citizenship laws and Italy’s colonial history in Eritrea, Somalia, Ethiopia and Libya, as well as more recent legislative developments. The narrative unfolds through real-life stories of people who have experienced complex paths to recognition of their rights, providing a powerful reflection on social change and the ongoing challenges of integration.

The screening is part of the Forum programme as a moment of reflection on a key dimension of sustainability: the social dimension, linked to equity, inclusion and the development of more just public policies.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with guests and the audience.
